60s plus a good bit - diagnosed as 'Occular Myasthetic'in November 2006 - symptoms started in June 2006 with drooping right eye - looked up 'drooping eye' on internet and lo and behold MG reared its head - wrote to GP and suggested MG - refered me to Neuro at Canterbury Hosp - given Mestinon first meeting - eye cleared up within an hour - 2nd meeting blood tests started - November confirmed OM with blood tests - scan of chest / abdo etc in February - meeting with Consultant in March - we will see what happens in the mean time - on emergency response for ultra quick appt with Cons if deteriation happens.
In May, under new Specialists in Exeter, after experiencing breathing dificulties and further Blood and Breathing tests - generalised MG confirmed and started on Steroid Course. Now riding the Rollercoaster of effects, along with Adcal daily and Alendronic weekly.
