6/5/09 - stroke like symptoms including right sided paralysis, inability to lower eyelids, nystagmus, slurred speech
6/25/09 - RX supplemental oxygen 2LPM during exertion, 3LPM during sleep
10/5/09 - dx with myasthenia gravis, Rx Prednisone, tested for Rheumatoid Factor - negative, ANA - negative, and MuSK antibody - negative, EMG and SFEMG negative.
11/1/09 - Diaphragm strengthened enought to go off oxygen
11/30/09 - 5 days in hospital with an exacerbation, severe swallowing and respiratory weakness- 5 days IVIG
1/1/2010- 4 days in hospital with an exacerbation from an infection, treated with IVIG and antibiotics.
Current meds - Mestinon - 90mg every 4 hours, Prednisone - 10mg daily, Imuran - 150mg daily, IVIG - 60g every 2 weeks.
