37 year old, diagnosed with MG and Lupus mid 2007. Have been symptomatic since diagnosis and recently went into crisis after a stressful few months at home/work. Glad to say I recovered in ICU extremely quickly and thanks to a few treatments of IVIG I am definitely on the road to recovery. My consultant, also a MG sufferer is pushing for a thymectomy. I'm pleased to say my consultant is 'cured' from MG after his Thymectomy, so I'm hoping I'll be in that lucky 70% success rate. I am still working, although some days I find it a struggle, however I'm a contractor so no work, no pay. I play the lottery every week and I'm keeping my fingers crossed 'lady luck' will be looking at me for a nice win !!
