I'm a 37 year old female and have had ocular myasthenia since Dec 2004. My diagnosis is based mainly on the pattern of my symptoms. My last test for acetylcholine receptor antibodies was borderline and EMG results were also borderline. I suffer mainly with double vision. I take variable doses of mestinon as and when required but only find it helpful when my symptoms are very mild.
