Does any body else suffer from muscle pain every time they move.
Recently I have been driven to despair with the pain I am suffering as it so variable and unpredictable it is dragging me down to being immobile and inactive.
When I was diagnosed Nov 09 as having OMG the neurologist mentioned that Fybromiagla (if that is how it is spelled) might be why I was suffering bouts of pain so many times in the past.
Each time I have seen my current neurologist I have stressed that my pain is getting worse but she seems to dismiss my concern and focuses on the OMG and not the muscle pain which has just been getting progressively worse.
Can any body tell me more about Fybromiagla as my next visit to the neurologist is not until November and my GP although ever helpful admits to being out of his depth regarding MG and can only help with more painkillers which is what is making me so fed up.

Hi Eric i have a lot of muscle pain,very sore and tender mine feels like my muscles are being torn apart as for fibromyalgia(?) all i can say is to look at http://www.ukfibromyalgia.com/. All i can say is that some Docs only look at one thing and not the big picture.
have you made a account on the new website yet, as they might be able to offer more info on there.

My knee pain disappeared after 10 days of Silica G5. I am now 95% pain free after years of crippling knee pain and ( this year) months of crutches. hi eric i have pain intermitten pain all over my body it doesnt last long in one spot and my muscels jump i dont know if your the same as iv got rotating steriod myopathy which is also making my muscels weaker as well
it seems i cant come of the steriods yet as iv started new treatment and im waititnf to see if it works
if not then im going to reduce the steriods slowly under supervision
i dont know if your the same as me i understand about t pulling ou down further i was getting to the point tat i was thinking i was imagening it till another doc told me it was steriod myopathy hang on i there and i hope you get it sorted if you want to talk e-mail me
